NAXOS DAY EXCURSION

Meeting  Time :       10:30   on Tourlos  (Passengers entrance)

Departure                11:00   with  High-speed boat from Tourlos  port

Upon arrival  at the harbor of Naxos Town we enter a bus and start the tour of the Island.

The route takes us  to  the  highest mountain  of  all Kyklades,  the ZAS, and to its various picturesque villages  like Melanes, Apeiranthos, Koronos,  Damalas  etc.

We are  visiting  ancient monuments like Kouros of Flerio (a 6.5 m big marmor statue) and Portara in Naxos town,  the  Tragaea  valley with its plantations,  old  churches like the Panagia  Drossiani (built on the 6^th century).

We also visit  shops selling local  products like the aperitif Kitro,  a  cheese and herbs shop where they also sell local olive oil and olives  and  a family run  Pottery shop.

In the middle of the Tour there will be a  Lunch stop (meals are not included in the price) in a  Typical Greek Village  with local food.

Before we embark on the Boat back to Mykonos there is  enough free time to have a look around  Naxos Town  and to visit the Portara monument ( by the harbor)

Return   at 20:45 from Naxos  with  High-speed boat.
